2025 Induction Forum - Player Reaction

Recently, the NZCPA had the privilege of welcoming the newest group of domestic and international professional players into our community when the 2025 Player Induction Forum was held in Auckland.

The Induction Forum provides players with a clear understanding of the professional landscape - from their rights and responsibilities, to personal development, career support, wellbeing, and the importance of connecting early with their Personal Development Managers.

Insights from past players Mikaela Franks (nee Greig) and George Worker, along with guidance from Brad Rodden, Head of Player Services, NZCPA Staff, and guest speakers, helped deepen players’ understanding of the journey ahead and the support available at every stage.
